As a co-founder of Grassroots Suicide Prevention, I originally proposed a UK-based suicide prevention app, then worked with the Grassroots team to develop it, secure pilot funding and shape the first prototype, before our associates at Switchplane built it. Now known as Stay Alive, it’s grown into a vital resource for people experiencing suicidal thoughts, and for those worried about someone they love, with each download representing someone who reached out when they needed it.
