What does change look and feel like for different groups of people, and how can managers lead it inclusively? These questions shaped a three-part Inclusive Change Management programme I developed and delivered at Brighton & Hove City Council, reaching over 100 managers council-wide. The programme covers how intersecting identities shape people’s experience of change, practical stress management and resilience for managers themselves, and how to build psychologically safe, inclusive team environments. Drawing on my own experience as a disabled, LGBTQ+ facilitator, it’s grounded in the reality that change lands differently depending on who you are, and equips managers with tools they could apply immediately.
